About Us
We are energetic moms with a passion for staying busy. It seems we're always running from one thing to the next. And not only do we run errands, run kids around and just generally run wild, we also happen to both really enjoy running as an activity, as exercise. But I always believed I could do something more with this running hobby.
For a couple years now, I've had a vision of this little running "chic" in my head, and ideas were percolating. When I finally put pencil to paper and showed a crude sketch to my sister, Kristen, she got so excited—I knew we were onto something. The design spoke to us, and I began to see the little sketch in more than just my head. Kristen and I knew we were both a couple of Running Chics! And what's more, we knew there were other "chics" like us out there, too.
Together, we formed Running Chics by abDesign. As avid runners, we want apparel that's comfortable while we're on the "run." Whether it's a marathon, a 10K, or around the block, we want to look and feel good. So every piece of Running Chics apparel is inspired by colors and trends in everyday fashion. So far, the response has been phenomenal.
